Daniella Gruenspecht is a trauma-informed somatic therapist who sees patients virtually and in person throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Miami.

Her work is informed by Somatic Experiencing and EMDR principles and grounded in one core belief: we feel better when we’re honest with ourselves and meet the mind, body, and spirit with compassion, grace, and patience.

In addition to her clinical training, Daniella has studied with indigenous elders and healers in Mexico and Peru. Their teachings continue to inform her work.

She is particularly drawn to working with people who feel stuck in a version of themselves that no longer reflects who they are becoming. She believes lasting change happens through relationship with ourselves and others, and that it doesn’t always come from deeper analysis. Sometimes it comes from making amends, setting a boundary, taking a meaningful journey, trying something new, or giving yourself permission to live differently. It also means recognizing, integrating, and celebrating growth.

Daniella brings warmth, directness, playfulness, and attunement to her work. She creates a therapeutic container that is steady without being rigid, where patients feel supported enough to become more fully themselves.
