Berel Polonsky

Berel Polonsky lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and their two children. He is passionate about creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience genuine human connection. His approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and meeting people exactly where they are-without judgment or the need to be anything other than themselves.

For the past two years, Berel has facilitated a Jewish men's group, שבט אחים (Shevet Achim), centered on brotherhood, intimacy, vulnerability, and authentic community.  This is a place where men can show up fully, support one another, and grow together. Together with his wife, he also hosts Kavana Circle, a monthly donation-based gathering in their home that has been bringing people together for over two and a half years to explore meaningful conversations about the human experience, connection, spirituality, and personal growth.

Berel also guides Cold Plunge Exposure Therapy as a practice for nervous system regulation, conscious breathing, and learning to meet discomfort with presence rather than resistance. Whether in the cold, in circle, or in conversation, his work is less about fixing people and more about helping them become deeply present with what is already here.

At the heart of everything Berel offers is a simple philosophy: transformation begins with presence. His work invites people to move through a journey of awareness, compassion, acceptance, emotional expression, personal responsibility, and lasting change. Rather than escaping life, Berel believes healing comes from meeting ourselves and each other with honesty, courage, and love, right here in this moment.
